MPC is harder than tiles because it’s polished concrete though it tricks your brain to think it’s a harder surface on your feet.

If your feet can tell the difference between 35 mpa tiles and 55 mpa polished concrete .... you have astounding feel. Most clients are amazed at the subtle soft feel it has. 

The answer is yes, but there is a way to resolve this issue.

For a wet area we can install a non slip additive to a sealer so you can still have a seamless effect throughout the house leading into a bathroom with non slip. We also do shower bases.

It is possible but there is a risk of what we call ghosting. That is where cleaning over time has leeched through the tile grout and stained into the concrete.

This does not happen to every job but it is possible. Some clients aren’t bothered by the ghosting and seem to like the effect but if it’s not for you there is other alternatives.

Running a sample on the job is recommended in this case.
